Architecture / environmental / interior design
These courses focus on the art and science of designing buildings, structures, and space, associating the surrounding environment and knowledge into the process, such as feasibility, resources, and materials, while maintaining the aesthetics. Students work within the spectrum of furniture, furinishings, interiors, buildings, landscapes, and urbanism to design environments for conceptual and practical application.
Advertising
Students will be introduced to the theory, application and execution of creative ideas communicated in mass. Students will be taught to act creatively, think critically about brands and products, assess business needs, and brainstorm creative concepts.
2D Animation
Taught by a professional animator, students have the opportunity to learn various skills and techniques that are used in the field of animation as well as develop their own individual style. The emphasis will be on design and practical applications for students who are interested in pursuing independent as well as commercial animation arts.
3D Animation
This program will teach students how to animate in 3D, concentrating on building basic observational skills of human and real world actions and interactions, conceptual visualization and application, and model building. Students will learn aspects of compositing, lighting, rendering, texturing, and visual effects.
Environmental / Product Design
Environmental/product design portfolio prep serves as a laboratory for the development of the basic tools necessary for design. Students learn principles and approaches to design problems, means of conveying their ideas through models, photography, drawings, and other mediums, and begin developing a personal point of view in their work. In additions, students will develop a strong ethic and self-initiative.


Digital Media
Digital media consists of film editing, motion graphic animation, web design, graphic programs, 3D animation, video games, film and photography. Students will learn the individual techniques, concepts, as well as how they work with each other in a collaborative synergy.

Fashion Design
Students will learn the process of standard figure and life drawing, proportions, values, perspectives in working towards design and production. Themes, colors, fabrics, histories and contemporary events will all be explored in concepting and ultimately designing a clothing line. The fashion program encompasses an array of aspects associated within this burgeoning industry from design to pattern making to production.

Fashion Illustration
With aesthetics and story-telling, students will conceive themes and fashion designs to articulate through imagery in a variety of mediums.
Film & Video
Film will focus on screenwriting, synopsis, storyboarding, theory & history, filming on mini-DV to HD, and articulating narrative on film. Students will focus on developing a short reel ranging from projects such as a music video, cinematography, short film, and television commercial.
Figure/Life Drawing
Students will develop a creative understanding of the form as well as focus on core fundamentals of drawing a human figure. Classes draw from life, analyzing the form, incorporating movement and gesture, utilizing anatomical proportions, and stylizing exaggerations. Students develop an understanding of the anatomy of the body throught careful study. In drawing the human form, students gain experience in observation, line quality, volume, and design.
Fine Art
Fine Art develops teh artist's ability to express his or her ideas, opinions and emotions incorporating socio-economics, political events, espoused philosophies, and personal experiences. Students will develop technical skills with acrylic, watercolor, oil, and structural mediums.
Graphic Design
The graphic design preparatory program is an intense guided experience, which prepares students for successful acceptance in a premium art college of choice. The portfolio projects are designed so they can develop basic set of skills and conceptual fluency, required by the art institutions. The instruction mixes digital and hand skills as well as conceptual underpinning. Basics of design theory and styles are covered. The computer graphics component uses Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator in support of the project completion and overall portfolio preparation.
Illustration
Students will learn conceptual thinking, interpretation, and application, use of lines, forms, and colors, the ability to emote and communicate subjects on medium, and focus on story-telling through visual representations in drawing and painting.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Students will create images, develop the creative process, and explore different styles and techniques used in commercial, fashion, documentary, and fine art genres.
Portfolio
This class allows students to create a series of projects that exhibit their work using a range of media and subject matter that relates to their area of interest. Animation, Advertising, Architecture, Interior Design, Fine Art, Fashion, Graphic Design, Illustration, Toy Design, Transportation. These concentrations encompass Art History, Art Concepts, Media, Technique, Genre, and pursuing Grants & Scholarships.
Product design / toy design - industrial
Encompassing the fundamentals of shape and form to function and innovation, products will be concepted and designed through research and consumer needs, ultimately developing products for retail and use.
TransporTation Design - industrial
Students obtain technical and creative skills with transportation vehicle design through developing creative themes, inspirations and space. Students create design components that are aesthetically pleasing, and consider materials for comfort, safety and sustainability. Finally, the program will focus on innovation, brand identity, and environmental impact of vehicle design.
Junior Art / Grades 7-9
This program is designed to help students to prepare for special art projects, classes or programs they would like to participate in. Students work with various types of media and subject matter.
Preparation for interviews and portfolios for art high schools, Advanced Placement(AP) classes, Portfolio Review, and Art Contests.
Kid Art
The perfect opportunity for children to develop their creativity, conceptual thinking skills, as well as exploring their surrounding world and beyond, the Kid Art program provides the jumpstart for students in beginning their life journey.
